Siddharth-Ashika Ranganath’s Miss You Release Postponed 


The release of Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath’s much-anticipated romantic comedy Miss You has been postponed due to the heavy rainfall predicted in Tamil Nadu over the coming days. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the film’s production house, 7 Miles Per Second Productions, citing concerns for the safety and convenience of the audience.
In an official statement, the production house emphasized that ensuring a “safer and more enjoyable movie-going experience” was their priority. While a new release date has not been finalized,
the team assured fans that an update would be shared soon. The statement also expressed gratitude to distributors for their support and understanding in rescheduling the release.
The trailer of Miss You was recently unveiled, showcasing Siddharth as Vasu, an aspiring filmmaker, who falls in love with Subbulakshmi, played by Ashika Ranganath. The film’s storyline promises an “unusual love story” while retaining elements of a quintessential Tamil commercial entertainer, including romance, drama, and conflict with a political backdrop.
Directed by N Rajasekar, known for Maapla Singam and Kalathil Sandhippom, Miss You is scripted by Ashok R in collaboration with the director. The film features an ensemble cast that includes JP, Ponvannan, Naren, Anupama, Rama, Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Maaran, and Sashtika.
The film’s technical crew includes Ghibran as the music director, KG Venkatesh as the cinematographer, and Dinesh Ponraj as the editor. Produced by Samuel Mathew under the banner 7 Miles Per Second, the romantic comedy has generated significant buzz among fans and film enthusiasts.
