Huge haul of ganja at Chennai Central t

Chennai police seized 14 kilograms of ganja and arrested two individuals at the Chennai Central Railway Station. The accused, Sugil (27) and Ramshed (28), both residents of Kerala, were allegedly transporting the contraband from Visakhapatnam.
This arrest is part of an intensified crackdown on ganja peddling in the city. Just days ago, the Ambattur Prohibition Enforcement Wing (PEW) apprehended two more individuals from Kerala, R Suraj (21) and N Shamnad (20), near the Ambattur OT bus stand. They were reportedly smuggling and selling 25 kilograms of ganja.
Earlier, on December 4, city police had detained seven youths, including the son of actor Mansoor Ali Khan, for alleged connections to ganja peddling. The operation led to the seizure of four grams of OG-grade ganja and seven mobile phones.
The city police are intensifying efforts to curb the illegal drug trade and are actively pursuing leads in these cases to dismantle the supply network.
