The pre-release event of Thiru. Manickam, directed by Nanda Periyasamy and starring Samuthirakani, was held in a grand manner with the presence of several prominent film personalities. The film, based on the theme of “Righteousness in the lives of common people,” is set to release on December 27.
Nandha Periyasamy has previously helmed Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, and written the screenplay for Rashmi Rocket. Thambi Ramaiah, Ananya, Nassar, Gracy, Sriman, Karunakaran, Chaams, Vadivukarasi, and Ilavarasu, among others, round out the supporting cast of Thiru Manickam.
GP Ravi Kumar, Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy and Raja Senthil are backing Thiru Manickam, under the GPRK Cinemas banner. The film’s technical crew comprises cinematographer Sukumar M, editor Guna and music composer Vishal Chandrashekar. Thiru Manickam was shot in areas such as Kumuli, Thekkady, and Munnar.
Speakers at the event, including actors Sams, Vadivukkarasi, and Ravimariya, praised the film’s gripping narrative and emotional depth. Vadivukkarasi highlighted the film’s realistic portrayal, while director Vikraman lauded its unique climax and impactful storytelling. Lyricists Snehan and Sorko praised the script’s authenticity and its emphasis on integrity.
The film’s cast, including Bharathiraja and Samuthirakani, delivered remarkable performances, with music by Vishal Chandrasekhar adding to its appeal. Director Ganesh Babu and producer Raja Senthil emphasized the film’s powerful message about the importance of honesty and values.
Thiru. Manickam is all set to hit screens 27 December.
