A mysterious caller issued a bomb threat to the Tamil Nadu Secretariat and the Director General of Police (DGP) office, prompting an immediate police response.The threat, made over the phone, was reported to the authorities. Following the alert, bomb squad experts, along with police teams, conducted extensive searches at both the Secretariat and the DGP office premises.
After thorough inspections, it was confirmed that the threat was a hoax. However, the police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace the individual responsible for making the bomb threat.
Investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the caller who caused panic through this false alarm.
