AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has announced that public meetings will be held in all Assembly constituencies to commemorate the 108th birth anniversary of the party’s founder, M.G. Ramachandran (MGR).In his statement, Palaniswami said, “To mark the 108th birth anniversary of MGR, public meetings will be conducted in all Assembly constituencies from January 17 to 22 and again from February 12 to 14. Similar meetings will also be held in other states where the party operates.”
As the by-election for the Erode East Assembly constituency is scheduled for February 5, public meetings in constituencies within the district will be held on February 12, 13, and 14. Palaniswami urged all party members to participate in large numbers to make the events a success.
The party’s headquarters has released details about the venues and special speakers participating in the events. According to the schedule, Edappadi K. Palaniswami will address the public at a meeting in the Sholinganallur Assembly constituency, Chengalpattu district, on January 17.
These meetings aim to honor MGR’s legacy and reinforce the party’s connection with the public across Tamil Nadu and beyond.
