The price of ornamental gold in Chennai continues to rise sharply, marking another significant hike today.
The fluctuations in gold prices are influenced by global economic conditions and the value of the Indian Rupee against the US Dollar. Over the past few days, gold prices have been steadily increasing, leaving buyers concerned.
Today, January 17, the price of 22-carat gold in Chennai surged by ₹480 per sovereign, now selling at ₹59,600. The price of 1 gram of gold increased by ₹60, reaching ₹7,450.

In just the last three days, gold prices have risen by ₹960.
