A man, who visited RK Nagar Police Station in Chennai to reportedly file a complaint, set himself on fire outside the station premises.On Monday (January 20) night, a man from Pulianthope came to the station. After he exited the police station, he set himself afire, much to the shock of everyone.
Although the passersby and the police personnel immediately doused the fire, the man suffered severe burn injuries.
He was then rushed to hospital for medical attention.
The reason behind the act, or the man’s identity, was yet to be ascertained.
