The much-awaited film Gentlewoman, starring Lijomol Jose, is all set for a theatrical release on March 7, just ahead of International Women’s Day. Directed by debutant Joshua Sethuraman, the film promises to be a tribute to women, celebrating their strength and grace.According to the makers, Gentlewoman will redefine the meaning of gentleness, proving that it is not just a virtue associated with men. The film also stars Losliya and Hari Krishnan in key roles.
The technical crew includes Govind Vasantha as the music composer, SA Kathavarayan as the cinematographer, and Elayaraja Sekar as the editor. Sudesh has handled the stunts, while Azar is the choreographer. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics and dialogues.
Lijomol Jose, best known for her powerful performance in Jai Bhim (2021), had a busy year with three Malayalam releases—Nadanna Sambhavam, I Am Kathalan, and Her. Apart from Gentlewoman, she has Ponman (Malayalam), Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhu Udamai (Tamil), and Daveed (Malayalam) in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Hari Krishnan was recently seen in a supporting role in Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan, starring Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Pasupathy. Losliya, on the other hand, is currently enjoying the theatrical run of her latest film, Mr Housekeeping, directed by Arun Ravichandran.
With a release date now confirmed, Gentlewoman is expected to be a compelling film that resonates with audiences, especially in the spirit of Women’s Day.
