The Tamil Nadu government has appointed 39 new lawyers to represent the state in the Madras High Court and its Madurai Bench.Among them, eight lawyers have been designated as Special Pleaders, while seven have been appointed as Additional Government Pleaders. Additionally, seven lawyers will handle criminal cases, and 16 will represent civil cases.
These appointments aim to strengthen the state’s legal representation in important cases before the High Court.
