Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK leader M.K. Stalin, in a strongly worded letter to party cadres on February 12, 2025, asserted that despite the opposition’s various strategies, the DMK remains firmly in control of the political battlefield.
He emphasized that the Dravidian Model Government continues to receive increasing support from the people of Tamil Nadu due to its pro-people policies. “This unwavering support is a result of the relentless efforts of party workers, and it is your dedication that has brought the DMK to power for the sixth time,” Stalin wrote. He stated that the government’s focus on welfare schemes and their full implementation has strengthened public trust in the party.
Stalin accused the BJP-led central government of deliberately denying Tamil Nadu its rightful funds, thereby betraying the people of the state. “Despite the BJP’s vengeful approach against Tamil Nadu’s rights, we have propelled the state forward as a leading force in India,” he said. He pointed out that multiple national agencies, including NITI Aayog, have acknowledged Tamil Nadu’s excellence in various sectors.
He also took a sharp dig at opposition forces, claiming that BJP and its allies were forming deceitful alliances to mislead voters. “The DMK government’s welfare schemes have benefited every family in Tamil Nadu. Those who are in secret alliances and those who shout slogans for money will be exposed. We must ensure DMK’s victory by confronting these hidden forces,” he urged the cadres.
Stalin reassured that the party’s popularity among women and youth remains strong and that no political force can stop DMK and its allies from securing victory in the upcoming Assembly elections. “This is why our political opponents are trying different tactics—hidden alliances, vote-splitting strategies, and deceptive campaigns. But no matter the disguises they wear, the battlefield is ours! The people’s support is with us! Let’s stand by the people, work diligently, and claim victory,” Stalin concluded.
