BJP State President Annamalai has strongly condemned the rising incidents of brutal murders in Tamil Nadu, stating that the state has never witnessed such a law-and-order crisis before.
In a statement, he said: In broad daylight today, a man named John was hacked to death on the national highway in Erode district, right in front of his wife. Just yesterday, a retired police officer was murdered in Tirunelveli. Even before the shock of one incident fades, another follows.
“Since the DMK came to power, Tamil Nadu has seen a surge in murders, robberies, and sexual crimes. The question arisesādoes law and order even exist in this state? Criminals have no fear of the law or the police. Are police stations functioning, or have DMK members locked them up?”
“Tamil Nadu has never seen such a deteriorating situation before. Even amidst this law-and-order breakdown, Chief Minister Stalin continues his self-promotion in the name of his father and grandfather. Is this not shameful?”
