In a significant political development, a social media post by BJP poll strategist and Union Home Minister Amit Shah after meeting top AIADMK leaders on Tuesday night, has dropped enough hints of revival of ties between the two parties ahead of the 2026 Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.
Amit Shah’s social media post dropped broader hints that it was been
revived. In a single line post, Amit Shah wrote in Hindi and Tamil “After the formation of  NDA government in Tamil Nadu in 2026, liquor flow and the cyclone of corruption   will come to an end, virtually stating the ties has almost been revived.

Earlier in the day, the sudden visit of EPS, who is also the Leader of the Opposition skipping the Assembly proceedings, to New Delhi has sent political tongues wagging.
