Actor Vijay Sethupathi is set to team up with renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh for an upcoming pan-Indian project. The announcement was made on Ugadi by the production house Puri Connects, co-founded by Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmme Kaur.The makers unveiled a photo featuring Vijay Sethupathi alongside Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, signaling their excitement for the collaboration. The filmâs regular shoot is slated to commence in June and will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
While it was initially reported that the film would be titled Beggar, the team is currently exploring alternative names, as the title has already been used in some languages.
This marks the first collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi, known for his versatility in Indian cinema, and Puri Jagannadh, the director behind cult hits like Pokiri and Idiot. Sethupathi made his Telugu debut with Uppena, directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
