Starting today (April 1), toll charges at 40 toll plazas across Tamil Nadu have been increased by ₹5 to ₹25.The revised toll rates are now applicable at key locations, including the Pattarai Perumbudur toll plaza on the Chennai-Tirupati National Highway, the Vanagaram toll plaza on the Tambaram-Maduravoyal Highway, and toll plazas on the Tambaram-Puzhal Highway and Surapattu. The new charges came into effect from midnight.
This revised toll fee structure will remain in place until March 31, 2026. Tamil Nadu has a total of 78 toll plazas, and this hike has been implemented in the first phase across 40 of them.
