Actor-filmmaker Dhanush has announced that his fourth directorial, Idly Kadai, will hit theaters on October 1. The film was originally scheduled for an April 10 release but was postponed to avoid clashing with Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly.Dhanush also plays the lead role in Idly Kadai, alongside Arun Vijay, Nithya Menen, Rajkiran, and Samuthirakani. While the storyline remains a mystery, an earlier poster hints that Dhanush portrays the owner of a small eatery named Sivanesan Idli Kadai. This has sparked curiosity about the film’s plot and setting.
The film marks another collaboration between Dhanush and composer GV Prakash Kumar, following Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, Vaathi, and Captain Miller. The technical crew includes cinematographer Kiran Koushik, editor Prasanna GK, and production designer Jacki. Idly Kadai is jointly produced by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar Films, with Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush as producers and Sreyas Srinivasan as the executive producer. Fans eagerly await what promises to be a unique and engaging film.
