The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case. Congress leaders Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey are also named in the chargesheet.
The chargesheet was filed in April and is now with Special Judge Vishal Gogne, who will decide whether to accept it and move the case forward. The next hearing is set for April 25, 2025.
The Congress party strongly opposed the move and called it a āstate-sponsored crime.ā
The judge has asked the EDās lawyer and investigation officer to bring the case diaries on the next hearing date for review.
