The Ram Temple trust has received a bomb threat through an email warning of a possible attack. The email was sent to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which looks after the temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
The threat email was received on Monday night. It said the temple’s security should be increased. Police said the email was written in English and sent by a person from Tamil Nadu.
The temple trust has filed a police complaint (FIR), and the cyber cell is now investigating the case.
Meanwhile, a security wall about four kilometres long is being built around the Ram Temple. Nripendra Misra, head of the temple construction committee, said the wall will take around 18 months to complete.
