Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a stern warning after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people.
At an event in Delhi, he said, “Those responsible will face a strong response soon.”
Rajnath Singh made it clear that the Indian government will not stop with punishing the attackers alone.
“We will also go after those who planned and hid behind the scenes,” he said.
He added, “Attackers and their masters will be targeted.”
This statement came after a high-level meeting in Delhi. The meeting lasted 2.5 hours. It included NSA Ajit Doval, the Chief of Defence Staff, and the three service chiefs.
The meeting focused on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
He assured the nation that justice will be done.
