Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently wrapping up post-production work on his much-anticipated film Coolie starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is now making headlines for his next directorial venture. While earlier reports suggested that he would be directing Kaithi 2 with Karthi, fresh buzz indicates a change in plans.According to new sources, Lokesh is set to team up with actor Sivakarthikeyan and actress Shruti Haasan for his next project. Though nothing has been officially confirmed, the news has sparked excitement among fans, as this would mark the first collaboration between Lokesh and Sivakarthikeyan.
It is reported that the scripting work for this untitled film has already begun, even as Lokesh oversees the final stages of Coolie. Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently working on Parashakti directed by Sudha Kongara (following her film MadhaRasi), is expected to join Lokesh Kanagarajās project once Parashakti is completed.
