Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated CBSE Class 10 and 12 students on the announcement of their board exam results and said one exam cannot define them and their strengths go far beyond the marksheet.
“Heartiest congratulations to everyone who has cleared the CBSE Class XII and X examinations! This is the outcome of your determination, discipline and hard work. Today is also a day to acknowledge the role played by parents, teachers and all others who have contributed to this feat.
“Wishing Exam Warriors great success in all the opportunities that lie ahead! To those who feel slightly dejected at their scores, I want to tell them: one exam can never define you. Your journey is much bigger and your strengths go far beyond the mark sheet. Stay confident, stay curious because great things await,” PM said in a post on X.
The results for Class 10 and 12 board exams were announced on Tuesday.
While over 93 per cent students cleared the Class 10 exams, the pass percentage in class 12 exams stood at 88.39 per cent. Girls outshone boys in both exams.

AIADMK accuses TVK govt of Law and Order failure

NT BureauJuly 6, 20260

Chennai, July 6:
The AIADMK on Sunday launched a strong attack on the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), alleging a complete breakdown of law and order in Tamil Nadu and claiming that the government is preoccupied with securing its survival through ā€œhorse-trading.ā€

Citing a series of recent criminal incidents across the State, the party said the situation reflects a serious lapse in governance and public safety. It pointed to cases including the stabbing of a 19-year-old woman in Erode after she refused a marriage proposal, a double murder near Kallidaikurichi, the recovery of a missing 17-year-old girl’s body from a well in Thanjavur, and the alleged sexual assault of a 60-year-old woman in Arcot.

The AIADMK alleged that instead of addressing such issues, the ruling dispensation is focused on garnering legislative support to remain in power. It described the current administration as one sustained through political defections and alignments.

The party also criticised the condition of Amma Unavagam canteens, stating that the subsidised food scheme introduced by former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa has been neglected. It accused the government of allowing the scheme to deteriorate as part of political vendetta.

Overall, the AIADMK claimed that Tamil Nadu is witnessing a decline in both law enforcement and welfare delivery, urging immediate corrective measures to restore governance standards in the State.
