Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a sharp warning to Pakistan while speaking at a rally in Bhuj, Gujarat. He called on the people of Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism.āTo free Pakistan from the disease of terrorism, its people, especially the youth, must come forward,ā PM Modi said. āLive in peace, eat your bread, or else my bullets are ready,ā he warned.
Modi compared the two countriesā progress. āIndia is now the fourth largest economy. Where is Pakistan?ā he asked, pointing out that terrorism has brought nothing good for Pakistan.
His comments echoed those of Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. He said terrorism is an open business in Pakistan, supported by its government and army. āTerror groups are working freely in Pakistanās cities. This is not a secret,ā he said.
