Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Tamil Nadu on June 8. He will attend important BJP meetings in the state.Shah will first pray at the Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. After that, he will chair a core committee meeting with state BJP leaders. He will also meet party workers from mandal, district, and state levels.
The BJP is working with AIADMK to take on the ruling DMK alliance in the upcoming state elections.
The DMK has been accusing the BJP of pushing Hindi and harming southern states through the upcoming delimitation exercise.
The BJP says these are just distractions to hide DMKās corruption and misgovernance. Shah has said the BJP will protect the interests of southern states in any delimitation move.
