A Chennai-bound Air India flight (AI 639) returned to Mumbai on Friday night after a burning smell was detected inside the cabin, the airline confirmed on Sunday.The flight, which took off at 10.55 pm, made a precautionary return and landed safely in Mumbai. Passengers were later shifted to another aircraft.
Air India stated that all necessary assistance was provided to minimize inconvenience. âThe safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew remain our top priority,â a spokesperson said.
