The Chennai First District Court will give its verdict on July 3 on a case asking for a ban on the TVK party flag.The case was filed by Ilangovan, the Tamil Nadu secretary of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He said the elephant on the TVK flag looks too much like the BSP’s symbol.
TVK leader N. Anand replied that both flags are very different. He said TVK’s flag was made to show Tamil culture and the state’s future. He also said the BSP’s case is false and should be rejected with a fine.
