AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has strongly criticized Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s phone call to the family of Ajithkumar, who died in police custody.
In a post on X, EPS said Stalin’s apology over the phone shows “peak carelessness.”
“The murder happened under your government. Is just saying ‘sorry’ your answer?” he asked.
EPS said Ajith was the strength of his family. “You killed their courage, and now you tell them to ‘stay strong’. What right do you have to say that?” he questioned.
He also accused the Chief Minister of showing no guilt or emotion. “You say you will do whatever is needed. Can you bring back Ajith’s life?” EPS added.
