Modi receives Ghana’s highest state honour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received a top national award from Ghana. He was given the Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana by President John Dramani Mahama.

The award was given for PM Modi’s strong leadership and global influence, said India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

Modi thanked the people and government of Ghana for the honour. He said it shows the close friendship between the two countries.

He said the award brings new responsibility to strengthen India-Ghana ties. Modi dedicated the honour to India’s youth, culture, and the shared history with Ghana.
