Iga Swiatek has moved into the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the second time in her career. She easily defeated Denmark’s Clara Tauson 6-4, 6-1 in straight sets.Novak Djokovic also reached the quarterfinals. This is the 16th time he has done so at Wimbledon. He came back strong after losing the first set and trailing 1-4 in the fourth. Djokovic then won five games in a row to beat Alex de Minaur.
In doubles, India’s Yuki Bhambri and his American partner Robert Galloway lost to Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos. They tried to fight back in the second set but couldn’t keep up the momentum.
