AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) began his statewide campaign tour titled “Makkalai Kaappom, Thamizhagathai Meettpom” from Mettupalayam, aiming to connect with voters ahead of the 2026 assembly elections.On the tour’s opening day, Tamilnadu BJP chief leader Nainar Nagendran delivered a fiery speech, stating, “Tomorrow’s Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will be Edappadi Palaniswami.” His remark drew loud cheers from party cadres and supporters.
Nainar also criticised the DMK government, accusing it of failing to deliver on promises. He said, “Only under EPS’s leadership can Tamil Nadu see real growth and honest governance.” The campaign will continue across all constituencies with AIADMK inviting alliance partners to join.
