Gold prices witnessed a slight dip on Monday morning, bringing some relief to buyers. The price of gold fell by ā¹60 per gram and ā¹480 per sovereign in the local market.With the revised rates, the price of one sovereign (8 grams) of standard 22-karat gold now stands at ā¹72,000, while a single gram is priced at ā¹9,000. In the case of pure 24-karat gold, the rate per gram is now ā¹9,818.
Silver prices also remained steady, with one kilogram of silver priced at ā¹1,20,000 and a gram costing ā¹120.
Jewellery traders and market analysts expect fluctuations to continue in the coming days, influenced by global market trends and domestic demand.
