Gold prices witnessed a slight dip on Monday morning, bringing some relief to buyers. The price of gold fell by âč60 per gram and âč480 per sovereign in the local market.With the revised rates, the price of one sovereign (8 grams) of standard 22-karat gold now stands at âč72,000, while a single gram is priced at âč9,000. In the case of pure 24-karat gold, the rate per gram is now âč9,818.
Silver prices also remained steady, with one kilogram of silver priced at âč1,20,000 and a gram costing âč120.
Jewellery traders and market analysts expect fluctuations to continue in the coming days, influenced by global market trends and domestic demand.
