The makers of the upcoming Tamil thriller Trending held a meet ahead of the film’s global theatrical release on July 18.Speaking at the event, the film’s director Sivaraj said, “Trending is not just a title — it reflects the pace and intensity of the story. We’ve built a thriller that mirrors the chaos and unpredictability of today’s digital world.”
The lead actor Kalaiyarasan added, “This film pushed me as a performer. The story is tight, the characters are layered, and the audience is in for a ride filled with twists.”
Priyalaya plays the female lead. The film boasts an impressive technical crew, including Praveen Balu as the cinematographer, Nagooran Ramachandran as the editor, Sam CS as the music director, and Monster Mukesh handling the stunt choreography.
Producer of the film Meenakshi Anand shared, “We believe this film will resonate with young audiences. The themes are modern, the storytelling is sharp, and we are confident it will make an impact.”
