Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan has claimed that key leaders in the DMK alliance, including VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan and MDMK general secretary Vaiko, are considering leaving the alliance.
Speaking to the media on Saturday, Murugan said that parties like the VCK and the Communist parties, which are currently part of the DMK-led alliance, have been regularly criticising the DMK government.
“Thirumavalavan and Vaiko are thinking about when to quit the alliance,” he said. “The DMK alliance is weakening, and many of its partners may soon walk away.”
Murugan also asserted that the BJP-led alliance remains strong and would continue to grow, hinting at possible realignments in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape ahead of upcoming elections.
