The DMK’s student wing held a gathering in Coimbatore where they strongly defended the party’s commitment to education. This comes amid ongoing debates over the use of temple funds for running educational institutions.Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, in a social media post, praised the student wing for their support. He said, “Whoever tries to stop education will be rejected by Tamil Nadu students.”
Stalin also criticized opposition leaders, especially from the AIADMK, saying that even during their rule, temples managed schools and colleges. He accused them of spreading misinformation and said the DMK will continue to support learning and equal access to education for all.
