Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stated that “people will no longer trust the ten-failure Palaniswami,” while inaugurating new projects.

In Mayiladuthurai district, Stalin inaugurated 47 projects worth ₹48.17 crore and laid the foundation stone for 12 new projects worth ₹113.51 crore. During the event, CM Stalin said:

“As the son-in-law of Mayiladuthurai district, I have come here as one of you. Today, I have laid the foundation stone and inaugurated new projects worth ₹48 crore.
Despite the rain, the people of Mayiladuthurai showered me with love. What did Palaniswami do during his 4-year rule? It was Palaniswami who stopped the poor women’s marriage scheme in 2018. He also stopped the laptop scheme for students. He is now telling me ‘Tata Bye-bye’.

Ten Failures’ Palaniswami, from 2019 onwards, the people of Tamil Nadu have been continuously telling you ‘Tata Bye-bye’. In this election, they are going to say permanent goodbye to you. People will never trust you again. Even your own party members are not ready to trust you in the election field, said Stalin.

There’s a scene in a comedy movie where they say, ‘You are not fit for all that.’ Similarly, they have come to that conclusion. Knowing this, they are trying to create a fake image. There’s a movie called ‘Sundara Travels’. Just like that, he has taken a bus and set off. Just as smoke comes from that bus, lies and slanders are coming from his mouth., the Chief Minister added.

People are not ready to trust you. In frustration, he is making accusations against the people of Tamil Nadu, not knowing what he is saying. He is denigrating them. He says that people were deceived by a thousand rupees. People were not deceived. You are the one who was deceived by trusting the BJP. For your self-interest, to save your family from raids, you have mortgaged AIADMK to Amit Shah in Delhi and come back.

The Central government does not care about the welfare of Tamil Nadu fishermen. Did the BJP government, which has been in power for more than 10 years, take action to retrieve Katchatheevu? The BJP government is playing politics in the Katchatheevu cession issue, added Stalin.

People voted with the hope that he would stop it. I have upheld that trust. I assure you with certainty. I assure you now that next government will be a Dravidian Model government. You must protect the government that protects you. Thus spoke Chief Minister Stalin.
