Gangaikonda Cholapuram, July 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that Operation Sindoor has shown the world India’s firm stand on national security and sent a clear message: there is no safe haven for terrorists and enemies of the country.Speaking at the ‘Mupperum Vizha’ celebration in Gangaikonda Cholapuram, PM Modi said the operation has boosted public confidence and shown India’s decisive response to any threat.
The event marked 1,000 years of Rajendra Chola-I’s maritime expedition, his birth anniversary, and the start of construction of the Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple.
Drawing parallels with the Chola legacy, the PM said Rajendra Chola’s humility and strength continue to inspire India today. He praised the Chola era’s advancements in trade, navy, and culture, calling it a guide for building a new, developed India.
