Gold prices saw a slight decline in Tamil Nadu on Friday morning, offering mild relief to buyers. The price of gold dropped by ā¹20 per gram, bringing the rate of one sovereign (8 grams) down by ā¹160.As of today, the price of standard 22-karat gold stands at ā¹9,150 per gram, with one sovereign priced at ā¹73,200. Meanwhile, the rate for pure 24-karat gold is now ā¹9,981 per gram.
Silver rates, on the other hand, remained unchanged. A gram of silver is priced at ā¹123, while a kilogram is selling at ā¹1,23,000.
The dip in gold prices comes amid fluctuating global trends and market conditions. Buyers looking to invest in jewellery or gold assets may find this a favorable time to make their purchases.
