PMK leader Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss will launch the second phase of his padayatra on August 7 under the slogan “Retrieve Our Rights, Protect Our Generation.”
The first phase, which began on July 25, will conclude on August 4 in Tirupattur after covering 10 assembly constituencies.
The second phase, scheduled from August 7 to 18, will span 15 constituencies, including Vandavasi, Cheyyar, Pennathur, Polur, Thindivanam, Gingee, Mayilam, Villupuram, Vikravandi, Rishivandiyam, Ulundurpet, Bargur, Uthangarai, Krishnagiri, and Hosur.
According to PMK headquarters, the padayatra seeks to directly engage with the public, address regional concerns, and highlight issues such as social justice, education, and environment. Anbumani’s outreach is also seen as a move to consolidate his leadership amid ongoing differences with party founder Dr. S. Ramadoss.
