The release date for the upcoming film Thandakaaranyam, starring actors Kalaiyarasan and Dinesh, has been set for September 19. The two actors, who previously shared the screen in the Rajinikanth starrer Kabali, are teaming up again for this project.The film is directed by Athiyan Athirai, who earlier helmed the film Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, also starring Dinesh.
Thandakaaranyam is a collaborative production by Pa Ranjith, S. Sai Devanand, and S. Sai Venkateswaran, under the banners of Neelam Productions and Learn and Teach Production Pvt Ltd.
The film’s ensemble cast also includes notable actors such as Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Muthukumar, Aruldoss, Saranya Ravichandran, and Bala Saravanan.
The crew features Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer, with lyrics penned by Umadevi and Thanikodi. Pratheep Kaliraja is the director of photography, Selva R.K. serves as the editor, and T. Ramalingam is the art director. Stunner Sam and A.S. Sudeshkumar are handling the stunt choreography.
Both Kalaiyarasan and Dinesh are frequent collaborators of director Pa Ranjith. Dinesh’s first leading role was in Ranjith’s debut film, Attakathi, while Kalaiyarasan has appeared in several of Ranjith’s films, including Attakathi, Madras, Kabali, Sarpatta Parambarai, and Natchathiram Nagargiradhu.
