âFollowing its teaser reveal in June, the makers of the upcoming film Bomb, starring Arjun Das, announced on Wednesday that the movie is scheduled for a September release. A specific release date, however, has not yet been specified.
âDirected by Vishal Venkat, known for the critically acclaimed film Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal, Bomb is expected to be a quirky comedy. The film’s teaser suggests a unique and wacky plot involving scatological humor, where flatulence after death helps the deceased come back to life.
âThe movie features an ensemble cast, including Shivathmika, Nassar, Abhirami, Singampuli, and Balasaravanan in significant roles alongside Arjun Das. The technical team includes music composer D Imman, cinematographer Rajkumar PM, editor Prasanna GK, art director Manoj Kumar, and stunt choreographer Monster Mukesh. The film is produced by Sudha Sukumar and Sukumar Balakrishnan under the Gembrio Pictures banner. The story and screenplay were crafted by director Vishal Venkat, Manikandan Mathavan, and Abhishek Sabarigirison, with Makizhnan BM penning the dialogues.
âThe announcement adds to a busy schedule for Arjun Das, who was recently seen playing a dual antagonist role in Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly. He is also set to appear in the upcoming actor-politician Pawan Kalyan-starrer OG, which is scheduled for a September 25 release, and will lead the film Once More alongside Aditi Shankar.
