After the phenomenal success of HanuMan, Teja Sajja is back to claim his place as the new-age superhero of Indian cinema with Mirai. Directed by visionary cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Karthik Ghattamaneni, this epic saga promises a cinematic experience like no other—blending grandeur, mysticism, and jaw-dropping action. Backed by producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the film’s first glimpses set the internet ablaze, and now the newly unveiled trailer has solidified Mirai as one of the year’s most anticipated releases.
The story centers on an unassuming young man whose quiet life of selfless service hides a divine destiny. Tasked with securing nine sacred scriptures and protecting humanity from the malevolent force known as Black Sword, his journey transforms him into a Super Yodha. Even as mortal powers and a magic staff prove insufficient, his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama becomes his ultimate source of strength, courage, and transformation.
Karthik Ghattamaneni wears multiple hats as director, cinematographer, and co-writer, presenting a visual and narrative marvel on a scale Indian cinema rarely witnesses. Alongside Manibabu Karanam’s impactful dialogues, Karthik crafts a cinematic universe that blends high-octane action with mythological depth. The trailer offers goosebump-inducing moments, particularly its awe-inspiring final frames featuring Lord Rama, promising an emotionally resonant yet visually groundbreaking experience.
Teja Sajja’s transformation from boy-next-door to larger-than-life hero is striking, his physical preparation and intensity elevating every action sequence. Manoj Manchu commands the screen as the menacing antagonist Black Sword, while Ritika Nayak shines in a pivotal role as a spiritual guide. Veteran actors Jagapathi Babu, Shriya Saran, and Jayaram add gravitas to the stellar cast, enriching the film’s emotional core.
Gowra Hari’s thundering background score and Sri Nagendra Tangala’s colossal production design create a fully immersive cinematic world, while cutting-edge visual effects push Telugu cinema into new territory. Executive Producer Sujith Kumar Kolli and People Media Factory ensure world-class production values, proving once again their dedication to delivering content that resonates on a global scale. Audiences can prepare to witness this epic saga, The Brahmand, unfold in theatres on September 12.
