The state conference of the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (DMDK) Workers Retrieval Group, led by O. Panneerselvam (OPS), was unexpectedly postponed.
It was initially scheduled for September 4, in Madurai, following OPS’s departure from the National Democratic Alliance on July 14, 2025. However, the party’s leadership has officially called off the conference, citing decisions made during a recent meeting of senior office-bearers.
