Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam has responded to a question about a potential alliance with actor Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), by stating that “anything can happen in the future.”Speaking to reporters in Tenkasi, Panneerselvam said that Vijay has just started his political journey. He added that the actor’s political future can only be predicted after seeing how he performs in the elections and how the people respond to him. He clarified that as of now, no one from Vijay’s party has approached him for an alliance. Panneerselvam also welcomed V.K. Sasikala’s statement that the AIADMK factions should unite.
The comments come amid speculation about new political alignments in Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming elections, particularly after Panneerselvam’s recent meeting with Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
