AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami has promised full protection for industrialists if his party forms the government.
He said that during his and the late J. Jayalalithaa’s rule, law and order were strictly maintained. He promised the same approach will continue.
Palaniswami said the police will be empowered to act strongly to protect law and order. He also promised to turn Madurai, known for its temples, into an industrial hub.
He announced that committees led by ministers and IAS officers will be set up to resolve industrialists’ issues.
The leader highlighted projects completed during the previous AIADMK government. These include the Mullaperiyar drinking water project, four check dams in the Vaigai river, road development schemes, underground sewage systems, and a flyover.
He also mentioned that the AIADMK government had twice waived crop loans and provided development relief funds.
Palaniswami assured that all demands and requests from industrialists will be carefully reviewed and acted upon.
