Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader and actor Vijay has received permission to hold his campaign at Marakkadai in Trichy. Police granted approval after TVK agreed to follow 23 conditions.According to police, the meeting should begin by 10:35 AM and end by 11:00 AM. Vijay’s speech has been restricted to 25 minutes. Party workers have been asked to arrive at the venue one hour in advance.
The order bans processions, firecrackers, and weapons. Vijay’s convoy can have only five vehicles. Police also instructed that sound levels must remain low and people should not climb nearby buildings.
TVK must arrange parking, drinking water, medical facilities, ambulance, and fire safety. The party is also responsible for helping police manage crowd and traffic. Pregnant women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities have been advised not to attend due to safety concerns.
