Tirunelveli, Sept 16: Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran came down heavily on the DMK government, calling it a failed administration.“For the last four years, this has been a bad government. It has turned into a rule of illegal liquor and drug sales. This government must go. For that, everyone should unite,” Nagendran told reporters in Tirunelveli.
He appealed to MGR’s loyalists to join hands for a change of rule. “All MGR followers must come together and support regime change,” he said.
At the same time, he clarified BJP’s political stand. “BJP does not see anyone as an enemy. We only see them as opponents. Personal criticism must be avoided,” Nagendran stated.
When asked about senior leader Sengottaiyan’s removal, he responded, “That is an internal party matter. I do not wish to comment.” He also added, “I have spoken to O. Panneerselvam regarding alliance issues.”
