Actor Tharshan and filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon are teaming up for a new fantasy romantic comedy, titled GodsJilla. The film started shooting on Monday with a formal pooja, coinciding with Tharshanâs birthday.
Alisha Mirani plays the female lead, while Robo Shankar, KPY Vinoth, Black Pandi, PGS, and others are part of the supporting cast. The film mixes mythology, fantasy, humour, and romance to tell a fresh story. It follows a young manâs journey from heartbreak to self-discovery, with a divine intervention helping him regain faith in love.
On the technical side, Shivraj handles cinematography, Arvindh B Ananth is the editor, and Karthik Harsha composes the music. The film is presented by Dinesh Raj of Zinema Media and Entertainment Ltd, and co-produced by G Dhananjayan of Creative Entertainers & Distributors and PGS Productions.
GodsJilla promises to redefine the rom-com genre with its unique blend of fantasy and heartfelt storytelling.
