ISRO Chairman Narayanan has announced that an unmanned rocket will be launched by the end of December as part of the Gaganyaan mission, with 85 percent of tests completed. A humanoid robot, Vyommitra, powered by AI, will be sent onboard.He said India plans to send its first human space mission by March 2027 after two unmanned launches. Highlighting ISROās achievements, Narayanan recalled Chandrayaan-1ās discovery of water on the Moon and the record launch of 104 satellites in one rocket, noting that student interest in space research is steadily rising.
