AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami has criticized the Tamil Nadu government for not beginning the investigation into the kidney fraud case, despite a directive from the Madurai Bench of the High Court.He said the case, involving illegal kidney transplants in private hospitals linked to ruling party members, had victimized poor dialysis workers in Namakkal district. EPS accused the DMK government of shielding those involved and following double standards by acting swiftly in some cases while delaying others.
He demanded that the High Courtâs order to form a special investigation team be implemented without further delay.
