BJP MP and Tamil Nadu election in-charge Byjanth Panda met AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami in Chennai to discuss strategies for the 2026 Assembly elections.The meeting, which lasted nearly an hour, focused on strengthening the NDA alliance by bringing in like-minded parties to challenge the ruling DMK.
Sources said the leaders also discussed the current political situation, including the recent Karur stampede at TVK founder Vijay’s rally. BJP State President Nainar Nagendran and senior AIADMK leaders were also present.
