VJ Siddhu, a popular YouTuber from Chennai, officially launched his directorial debut film “Dayangaram” with a pooja ceremony attended by notable personalities such as Natty Natraj and director Ashwath Marimuthu, alongside Siddhu’s entire YouTube team. The announcement video for the film was initially unveiled in May, marking Siddhu’s step into filmmaking as both director and lead actor.
The film is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner, with Siddhu Kumar composing the music and Pradeep E Ragav handling the editing.
Dinesh Krishnan serves as the director of photography, rounding out a technically sound crew.
Dayangaram is described as a journey through Siddhu’s transformation from his early days to his ambitions in the world of cinema, reflecting real-life experiences from his college years.
Producer Ishari Ganesh noted that the film will portray Siddhu’s personal story, celebrating his youth and the hustle behind his rise as an entertainer.
The launch was attended by various Tamil film industry personalities, showing support for Siddhu’s new venture. Siddhu, known for his work on YouTube and previous acting roles, said the project feels like a dream come true, encapsulating his fun-loving nature and love for cinema.
