Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited Madurai to participate in various events in the Tenkasi and Kovilpatti areas.On his arrival at Madurai airport, he was warmly welcomed by ministers, DMK leaders, and the public.
After receiving the reception, the Chief Minister proceeded to Kovilpatti.In Kovilpatti, a new city DMK office has been constructed on Ilayaraasanendal Road. At the front of the building, a full-size bronze statue of former Chief Minister Karunanidhi has been installed.
Chief Minister Stalin officially unveiled the Karunanidhi statue and inaugurated the newly constructed city DMK office in Kovilpatti. He also opened a library during the event. Several dignitaries attended, including Thoothukudi MP Kanimozhi and Minister for Social Welfare and Women’s Rights Geetha Jeevan.
The occasion marked a significant tribute to the late leader Karunanidhi, celebrating his legacy in the region, alongside strengthening the party’s presence through the new office in Kovilpatti.
